Christian Prayers: Prayer to Maintain Thankfulness

The Life of a 21st Century Prophet

prayer 3Dear Lord,

Help me to always be thankful, and see your blessings. Help me be conscious of the fact that there are others worse off than I.

There are those with no food, no shelter, no clothing, no food, no heat. There are those who are persecuted and cannot praise You as God openly.

Lord, I pray for each of these individuals and myself. Help me not to be ungrateful, but realize, where there is life, there is hope. In my down moods oh Lord, life me up.

Jesus, I thank you for the opportunity to praise You, whenever and wherever I am. All this I ask in Jesus name, Amen.
