Be careful of your desires.
Be careful in all things.
Read the word of God and develop a spirit of discernment to know right from wrong and good from evil. This will help you to discern people, by what they say and what they do. It will help you to heed the Holy Spirit, which is the best guide you could ever have.
Not everything you see, you should believe. Not everyone who seemingly does good, is good in their heart. That is why it is important to ask God to help you to know who are truly good in their heart and deeds.
Ask, and he shall answer.
