The Lord gives and the Lord takes is sometimes not an accurate saying.
The Lord always provides for us, provides a way out and provides opportunities. It is up to us – that thing about freedom to choose – to step out, make the effort and take what is ours.
Emphasis on ours, not others. What is not yours often leads to problems; so yes, God gives but sometimes you gotta walk to it.
