Revealing the truth about Genesis 1 – 50 by Denise N. Fyffe

The book of Genesis

At the beginning of 2016, I started off by delving into the beginning. For many days my bible app was stuck at the Book of Genesis.

These days my bible readings must come with focus and purpose. I do not read idle, but seek some revelation, which I did not have before. There are many hidden lessons and revelations of God, His personality, His agenda and His will for us…hidden in the Word.

The Book of Genesis

Genesis, this is a historical book, one of beginnings and relationships. From chapter one to chapter fifty, man has a wealth of stories that illuminates the relationship of God with man.

It is God’s desire that man reciprocate and earnestly seek after Him. It is human to think of the benefits of doing so. It is divine to fill the need of our Father,  to have His love returned in kind with no hidden agenda; with a simple desire to offer compassion to the author of compassion.

From chapter one, we see a Father preparing a home for His children. Food, companions,  happiness,  even playmates are provided. His children would want for nothing. They dominate and they are protected.

We also see how that divine relationship is interfered with. The jealous and depraved one, spiked the minds and hearts of God’s children with sin. From that moment on our Father has been yearning for us to come back to the place of perfect communion with Him.

But He does not give up on us.  He sets a divine plan, a master plan, which will forever cleanse us from the stain and stench of sin.

It is interesting to note the persistent way God continued to maintain and build and forge His relationship with man. From Enoch to Noah.  From Abraham the holder of the covenant to his sons and grandsons; Issac, Jacob and Joseph.

God dominates the landscape of our minds with His perpetual loving kindness and His demonstration of forgiveness and understanding. No matter the faults in men like Abraham,  Issac and Jacob; He stood by them.

Genesis is a book that gives us access to the initiation of the love affair, between God and man.

Exodus, is the book that demonstrates just how far God will go to defend His beloved.

God’s Relationship with Man

By February 2016, I was seeking a better understanding of God’s relationship with man and its origin. Reading the book of Genesis, has given me insight. In addition, I read several books by Anna Roundtree; including The Priestly Bride.

These books opened up my understanding of Jesus Christ and how he relates to us.

How he relates to you.

How he relates to me.

How he relates to the Church.

How He relates to us as a bride.

Hence, we are in a love relationship with Jesus Christ and all he wants to do is woo us. All He wants is to have an intimate relationship with His bride.

But are we seeking such an intimate relationship?

For many, no. As such, Jesus Christ is left hurting from our rejection and lack of genuine interest.

*****

Please, I appeal to you, seek a genuine relationship with God.

Seek him as you would a lover.

Get to know Him.

Talk to Him daily.

Seek His will in your life.

Be obedient.

Be thankful.

Love on Him.

Praise Him.

Adore Him.

Get into a loving relationship with Christ and watch your earthly knowledge and understanding change.

Watch and see as your life, your family, your destiny becomes enriched.

Bless you.
