Sometimes, I wonder if I walk around with a target sign on my back bidding every demon to take a shot.
God forbid!
When I think the goodness of God would just saturate my senses and obscure everything else that might come – I go through another series of testing.
They are like the ‘Hunger Games’ x 5000.
All I desire is to have a steady influx of love, hope, happiness and joy.
Not to have to scrape through the sand to find a sliver of joy.
Regardless, I must stand.
Today, I was reminded to cast all my cares on the Lord. Not some, but ALL. I endeavor to do just that – daily.
The Bible says:
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. – Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV
Our help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
