Nelson Mandela lived through hate, chaos, racism, imprisonment and illness. His words, deeds and influence will continue to live with us for many generations. Though imprisoned for over 20 years, Mandela changed his whole character and outlook for the better and this allowed him to bear his cross and unjust punishment.
