A Nigerian man told me once, when some people come into your life, they cause everything to go bad for you.
When People In Your Life Cause Bad For You
Recently, I have been meditating on the truth in this statement. As such, I started to examine ‘When People In Your Life Cause Bad For You.’
I knew of someone who had this same experience, when they started dating another person. However, for as long as this person was in their life, everything went wrong.
They lost their clients.
They went into debt.
They couldn’t get a job.
They couldn’t pay their bills and were almost evicted.
Exit To The Left
However, as soon as things began to chafe between them and this person exited their life, things started to get better for that person.
I look at this situation and started to really think of the spiritual reality of the situation. It made me consider, how demonic elements attach themselves to people and oppress the people around them.
This is why it is important to discern the people who enter your life and the spirits that travel with them.
4 They only plan to thrust him down from his high position. They take pleasure in falsehood.
They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. Selah. – Psalm 62:4 (ESV)
As Christians, we are often targets of the enemy, and as such, we need to be vigilant. The devil will send human and spiritual mercenaries to try to take you out. This is especially true for Christians who are a huge threat to his kingdom.
Be Encouraged
But Jesus is Victor.
We need to guard ourselves. We need to put on the whole armor of God. We need to drench ourselves in the Word of God and learn about Spiritual Warfare.
The next time you meet someone new, ask God to show who they are and what they are about, before embracing them. If their intentions are not pure, and when people in your life cause bad for you, ask Him to remove them speedily, from your life.
May Jehovah be with you always, on this journey throughout your Christian life.
