Learn How to Call on God
By: Jeremiah, Servant of the Living God
Learn how to call on God in every situation. Learn how to call on Him in the day of battle, in the times of trouble, when you face challenges, or even in moments of peace. Learn how to call on him with praise and also with thanksgiving. Cry out to him.
Cry out to him, and he will answer. He will send his angel to you or talk to you through his prophet. He will communicate with you in your dream. Exodus 2:23-25 shows us to have courage. No matter what anyone else is saying or believes around you.
Exodus 3 vs 2.
23 And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.
24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
25 And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.
When others doubted and when others were filled with fear. When others did not trust God and forgot His works, Caleb did not. He encouraged Moses and the Israelites. Our God loves whosoever encourages himself or others in the day of trouble, or battle.
Also, in Numbers 14:24-30,
24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.
25 (Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) Tomorrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.
26 And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
27 How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.
28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:
29 Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me.
30 Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
Here David called upon God on the day of battle and God answered him. Extend your faith, be encouraged and God will answer you in ways that you don’t even expect.
So, learn how to call on God.
Meditate on God’s Word
Many Christians struggle daily to live according to God’s word. But we need daily nourishment. That is why it is important to read your bible daily; even if it is a few verses and meditate on them.
