Whatever You Have Lost, God Can Recover All
By: Jeremiah, Servant of the Living God
Whatsoever you lost or lose, you can recover all. Once you have God, faith, and life, all things are possible through Christ Jesus.
My Testimony
I remember many years ago, I lost so many things. My family, my kids, my positions, my property; so much, lost. Then, I had nothing. I had no one in my life. Battles and trouble took away everything. But I never succumb to fear. I never succumb to doubt. I never succumb to depression. I choose life.
Instead of committing suicide, I moved on with my life.
How I Recovered All
I connected my life, and my faith to God seriously. More so than before. How? With fasting and prayer.
Matthew 6: 5-18
5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
Fasting and Prayer
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I was praying and fasting, and begging God to have mercy on me. It forced me to examine myself. It forced me to really look at my life and my choices. I looked at myself has a sinner and humbled myself in front of my God.
Luke 18: 10-14
10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for everyone that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Humble Yourself
It is important to humble yourself in front of God. You can always fake with other people. But God sees you and knows your sin. He knows your faults.
And He is the Almighty.
Romans 12:16
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
Ask God Before You Do Anything
Now, I always ask God what to do. When to do it and how to do it. We can’t accomplish all by ourselves. But, remember, we can do all things with God. I held on to the belief that ‘I can do all things with God. Read Matthew 7: 7-12.
Matthew 19:26
26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Go Where God Sends You
God sent me somewhere to seek Him, to seek answers and to humble myself. God directed me to a prayer mountain. I spent over a year there, just fasting and prayer every day. I was put through the fire.
I was tested.
I faced sickness.
I faced depression.
I faced so many battles.
I faced my loss. But I submitted to the will of God.
Recover All
Then, God moved and recovered all. God restored my life. He gave me shelter. He gave me hope. He restored to me more possessions than before.
God gave me a wife. She is the best wife in the world. My angel.
My life now is far better than before.
I am one with God and He is one with me. I seek Him and He guides me. All that the battles, the devil, and the challenges took away from me; All that I lost, God restored all.
He brought miracles to my life when the world was going through judgment. God showed me that there is nothing He can’t do.
