Testimony Thursday: A Divine Encounter at Burger King
By: Colline Goulbourne, Evangelizing Servant of God
This heartfelt testimony is meant to be shared with all those whom God desires to encourage at this very moment. Let me take you back to a day when I was sitting alone at Burger King, enjoying my meal in peace. Little did I know that God had orchestrated a divine meeting with a stranger, bringing His message of hope and reassurance.

An Unexpected Visitor
As I sat there, a lady approached me and politely asked if she could join me at the table while waiting for her daughter, who was still in line making a purchase. Welcoming her warmly, I invited her to sit with me. Little did I know that our encounter was divinely ordained.
God’s Message of Hope
During our conversation, she shared that she had just attended her daughter’s graduation ceremony, and I expressed my congratulations. Suddenly, without any prior thought, a word from God flowed through me for her. I felt compelled to convey a message of encouragement, assuring her that God was working in her situation, regardless of its difficulty.
Comforted by God’s Words
In that moment, I found myself telling her that even if her situation took as long as four years, God would undoubtedly come through for her. The impact of those words was immediate, as she began to cry uncontrollably, confirming that she knew it was indeed a message from God. It was a profound experience for both of us, as I had never met this lady before, yet God used me as His vessel to comfort her heart.
God’s Omniscient Care
As we conversed further, she revealed the specifics of her four-year-long struggle, and I was astonished to realize that I had also faced a similar four-year challenge in my own life.
It became evident that God knew all about her and had orchestrated our meeting for a divine purpose.
God’s Triumph Over Trials
Despite her deep valley of struggle, God had guided her to witness her daughter’s college graduation, symbolizing a victorious moment. In the face of adversity and negative remarks from others, God had granted her and her daughter a triumph. This serves as a powerful reminder that even in the darkest times, God’s hand is ready to lift us out of despair.
Hold On, God Cares
To those going through challenging times, I implore you to hold on just a little longer. God has a perfect sense of timing, and He will not forsake you. He often sends someone, even a stranger, to provide comfort and encouragement, as He sees, knows, and deeply cares for each one of us. So, dear friends and families, be encouraged, for God’s love and blessings are always with you.
Conclusion: Blessings and Encouragement
May this testimony serve as a beacon of hope to all who read it. Just as God used a chance encounter at Burger King to uplift a stranger’s heart, He can work miracles in your life too. Trust in His timing, for He is faithful to bring you through every trial and valley. May His love and blessings surround you, filling your heart with hope and joy.
