Testimony Thursday: Encouragement in Times of Pain and Trials
By: Colline Goulbourne, Evangelizing Servant of God
At this moment, God wants to speak directly to someone who is experiencing immense pain, and hurt; and facing seemingly insurmountable problems.
Know this: what you are going through is not meant to break you; it’s meant for a glorious purpose. God has a plan woven within every hardship, and He is working behind the scenes to bless you abundantly.

Enduring for His Glory
From the very beginning, God has been with you, and He remains by your side throughout this journey. It is His strength that sustains you, enabling you to endure the challenges that have come your way. Your ability to persist is a testament to His faithfulness. As you hold on, keep in mind that His glory will be revealed through it all.
Favor and Blessings Await
Even in the darkest moments, remember that favor will be your portion. God has not abandoned you; He is orchestrating a divine plan to lift you up and shower you with blessings. Your pain is not permanent; it is a stepping stone toward a brighter future filled with His grace.
A Constant Companion
You are not alone in this battle. God walks beside you, providing strength, comfort, and guidance. He never leaves your side, and His unwavering presence ensures that you will reach the end of this journey with His glory shining through every step you take.
Encouragement from God
Let this message be a source of encouragement for you today. Embrace the trials with faith and hope, knowing that God has a greater purpose in store. Your pain is not in vain; it’s a part of His master plan. Trust in Him, lean on His strength, and watch as His glory unfolds in your life.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (NIV) – “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
-
Isaiah 41:10 (NIV) – “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
-
Psalm 30:5 (NIV) – “For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.”
-
Isaiah 43:2 (NIV) – “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”

Romans 8:18 (NIV) – “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
Let these verses strengthen and uplift your spirit. May you find comfort in God’s promises and be assured that He is working for your good. Have faith, for your pain will give way to His glory, and His blessings will overflow in your life. Remember, God’s love and care for you are unwavering; you are never alone in your struggles.
Amen.
