Testimony Thursday: You Are Enough So Embrace God’s Power
By: Colline Goulbourne, Evangelizing Servant of God

This morning, a powerful message resonates in my spirit: “It’s not how you start out that matters, but how you finish the race. It’s about how you handle your spirit, your situation, during the journey towards your destination.” Let this message be an encouragement to you.
Embracing the Journey
Life’s journey may begin with bad decisions and choices, but take heart, for it is not the beginning that determines the outcome. Instead, it is your faith, trust, and belief in God that will lead you to victory. Embrace the challenges and struggles, knowing that God’s plans are at work in your life.
Victorious Results
When you place your faith in God, the results are bound to be victorious. Let go of doubt and fear, and choose to seek God wholeheartedly. Trust in His wisdom and guidance as you navigate through life’s trials.
Living a Life Pleasing to God
In the process of seeking God, strive to live a life that pleases Him. Obey His commands, remain humble in your journey, and practice patience as His plans unfold. Your faithfulness and obedience will align you with God’s purpose, and your life will shine with His glory.
Bible Verses:
- Philippians 3:13-14 (NIV) – “Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
- Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) – “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
- Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV) – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
- Colossians 3:12 (NIV) – “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.”
- 1 Corinthians 9:24 (NIV) – “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.”
Let these verses reinforce your resolve to trust in God’s plan and finish the race strong. Stay faithful, patient, and obedient, and you will witness God’s glory manifested in your life. May His blessings be upon you as you continue your journey with unwavering faith!
Conclusion: Trusting God’s Plan
As we continue on our individual journeys, let us hold on to this message of encouragement. It is not the circumstances of our beginnings that define us, but the choices we make during the journey that shape our destinies.
Trust in God by faith, and His plans will manifest in each of us for His glory.
Be blessed!
Meditate on God’s Word
Many Christians struggle daily to live according to God’s word. But we need daily nourishment. That is why it is important to read your bible daily; even if it is a few verses and meditate on them.
