Testimony Thursday: Understanding Praises to God, Embracing God’s Perspective
By: Colline Goulbourne, Evangelizing Servant of God

At 3:00 am this morning, a message came to remind us that others may not fully grasp our praises to God. The way we perceive God in a situation is different from the worldly perspective. While some may focus on outward appearances and physical aspects, we choose to look deeper into the spiritual realm.
The Power of Faith
In our hearts, we hold on to faith and believe that what we seek from God in the spiritual realm will manifest in the physical realm. While it may be challenging for others to comprehend, we trust in God’s perspective and His plans for us.
Focusing on the Inner Being
Our focus is not solely on the external circumstances but on the transformation happening within us. We understand that God’s work in our lives may not always be visible to others, but it is the inner change and growth that matters most.
God’s Manifestations
As we continue to praise God and hold on to our faith, we can be assured that His promises will come to fruition in due time. The things we believe in His perspective will manifest in our lives, aligning with His divine plan for us.
Encouragement to Keep Believing
Despite the differences in perception, we are encouraged to continue praising God and placing our trust in His ways. His blessings and favor will follow those who steadfastly believe in Him and walk in His path.
Bible Verses:
- 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NIV) – “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
- Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) – “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
- Romans 8:25 (NIV) – “But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.”
- Isaiah 55:8-9 (NIV) – “‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.’”
- Psalm 34:1 (NIV) – “I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.”
Let these verses remind us to trust in God’s perspective and continue praising Him, even when others may not fully understand. May our unwavering faith in God’s ways lead us to experience His blessings and manifestations in our lives.
Be encouraged to remain steadfast in His love and grace.
Conclusion: Trusting God’s Perspective
In a world where perspectives may vary, let us remain steadfast in our faith and praises to God. Our focus on the inner being and trust in His ways will lead us to experience His manifested blessings. As we embrace God’s perspective, may His grace and guidance be with us, enriching our lives in ways beyond comprehension.

Meditate on God’s Word
Many Christians struggle daily to live according to God’s word. But we need daily nourishment. That is why it is important to read your bible daily; even if it is a few verses and meditate on them.
