Example of Deliverance Dream

Deliverance Dream

The dream I mentioned before (see chapter 2 in the book), can be classified as a discernment dream, a spiritual warfare dream, and a deliverance dream, because God was able to show and destroy my enemy. He allowed me to see the unseen and he demonstrated his power and protection. Another dream, which I had several years ago, was terrifying, and yet in my dream, I knew they would not arm me. I recall being among an army. I saw a fierce being with a sword. His body was like a human, but his face was not. As I was moving away, I note the army was watching him as if he was the leader. He had a woman captive and a huge horse. He took out his sword and slashed the underbelly of the creature. As I walked away, he had the woman in hand and she looked at me, without remorse and I guess with loathing. When I woke, my heart was beating about 200 beats per minute, because the features of this being were ferocious. He was not one to be trifled with and power radiated from him. During this period of my life, I was experiencing immense warfare. My dreams had progressively and constantly been showing me the presence of demonic activity and harassment in my life. Every dream was more revealing as God tried to alert me to the attacks that were occurring in the spiritual realm. I prayed increasingly and had spiritual support as well. Soon after this dream, my physical life changed and while the world was having the worst year ever, I was experiencing great blessings. Such is the manifold power of God when he sends his angels to fight for you and destroy your enemies.   Stay tuned for our next weekly lesson on dreams and visions.
