Testimony Thursday: Finding Relevance in God’s Eyes
By: Colline Goulbourne, Evangelizing Servant of God

In a world where you may feel overlooked or insignificant to others, take heart and find encouragement in knowing that you are relevant to God. Your life has a purpose, and it is to fulfill His will and bring glory to His name.
Embracing Your Purpose
Though others may not recognize your value, remember that God sees greatness within you. He has placed His relevance inside your heart, empowering you to live a purposeful life.
Belonging to Jesus
As a follower of Christ, you belong to Him. Finding your relevance in Jesus is what truly matters. His love and acceptance are unwavering, and He has a divine plan for your life.
Focus on God’s Will and Glory
Rather than seeking validation from others, set your sights on fulfilling God’s will and bringing Him glory. You are a vessel for His purposes, and your obedience to Him is what truly matters.
Encouragement in God’s Perspective
In times of doubt, find encouragement in the knowledge that God deems you relevant. Your life holds meaning and significance in His eyes, and He has a unique plan for you to impact the world for His glory.
Bible Verses:
- 1 Samuel 16:7 (NIV) – “But the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.’”
- 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV) – “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.”
- Ephesians 2:10 (NIV) – “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
- Romans 8:28 (NIV) – “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
- Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV) – “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
May these verses remind you of your relevance in God’s eyes and inspire you to live for His will and glory. Be encouraged to embrace your purpose in Christ and find fulfillment in being relevant to Him. Let your life be a testimony of His love and grace.
Conclusion: Embrace Your Relevance in God
Let go of the need for approval from others and embrace your relevance in God’s eyes. You are valued and cherished by Him, and your purpose is to live according to His will and bring Him glory.
Be encouraged and blessed, knowing that in God, you find true significance.
Be blessed!
