The Christian Life: God Allows Criticism

I don’t know who this is for, but it came to me yesterday and just now again. So let me put it out there to encourage someone: “God allows criticism.”

Those are His exact words.

When God allows criticism, it’s because He knows the plans that he has for you.

God is saying to you, you, and you: Your beginning doesn’t determine or define your ending. You may start on a bad, rocky road, but that doesn’t determine your destination. He has it all planned out before your existence. The rocky road is just a part of the story — a few chapters in that tale. It’s for those who criticize you to read your story, starting from those rocky roads and leading to your victorious destination.

They will laugh at you. They will mock you. They will talk all manner of evil against you, etc. But don’t feel any dismay. God is building character in you for His likeness as you go through the process of your struggles. As you face those problems, remember, it’s not permanent but for a temporary time. God allows what you are going through for them to laugh at you, and then He, God, puts them to shame in the end. While they laugh at you, God is laughing at them.

Be encouraged and don’t be distracted by their laughter.

Instead, be thankful and grateful, focusing more on the end of that story — your destination of victory. You shall come out victorious. Once you know that God has your back, there is no need to worry. Be thankful for the blessings and favors that you are about to receive in Jesus’ mighty name. Those who laughed and criticized you will come back to you, apologize for what they did against you, and be ashamed.

Blessings and favors are your portion.

Be blessed and stay blessed.

Meditate on God’s Word

Many Christians struggle daily to live according to God’s word. But we need daily nourishment. That is why it is important to read your bible daily; even if it is a few verses and meditate on them.
