Youth in Ministry: Christian Leaders and Issues in Nigeria

The issues in Nigeria particularly among the youth, is a significant concern. The widespread use of smartphones, social media and other digital technologies has led to a culture of distractions, where many individuals are more focused on their screens than on the issues that affect their country.
The bible says “The eye is the lamp of the body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness, (Matthew 6:22-23). This verse highlights the importance of being mindful of what we focus on as it can have a significant impact on our lives.
Also, corruption and poor governance remain significant issues that hinder the growth of Christianity and societal progress. Christian leaders often advocated for transparency and integrity in leadership, urging their followers to actively participate in the political process.
Conclusion
Being a Christian in Nigeria is challenging. However, with the right leadership and commitment to biblical principles, the Christian community can overcome these challenges and experience growth and development.
Christian leaders must be guided by the principles of love, faith and purity, and provide effective leadership that addresses the needs of the Christian community. Also, we must trust in God’s sovereignty and provision, work together to build a stronger, more resilient Christian community in Nigeria.
Remember, don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love in faith and in purity.

Trust God to help you with that first step.
