Letter From the Prayer Desk: Dear R.D., Seek God’s Wisdom

Beloved in Christ,

Praise the Lord! We are honored to pray for you as you seek wisdom and knowledge from God. Your desire reflects the heart of a true disciple—one who longs not just for earthly success, but for divine understanding and insight. God honors those who seek Him, and He is ready to pour out His wisdom upon you.

God’s Promise to Those Who Seek Wisdom

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” (James 1:5)

Wisdom is not just about knowledge—it is about understanding God’s ways, making right decisions, and walking in His truth. The greatest wisdom comes when we seek first the Kingdom of God, allowing Him to direct our paths.

A Prayer for You

Heavenly Father,

We lift up R.D. before You, asking that You fill him with divine wisdom and understanding. Lord, You are the source of all knowledge, and we pray that You pour out upon him the wisdom of Solomon, the discernment of Daniel, and the insight of Joseph. Let his mind be sharp, his heart be full of Your truth, and his decisions be guided by Your Spirit.

Father, let every area of his life be touched by wisdom—his work, his studies, his relationships, and his spiritual walk. May he not only gain knowledge but use it to glorify You and to walk in righteousness. Let his wisdom be a light to those around him, drawing others to Your truth.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” (Proverbs 9:10)
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105)

How to Grow in Godly Wisdom

Meditate on the Word of God Daily – True wisdom comes from the Scriptures. Start with Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and James.
Ask God for Discernment – Pray daily for the ability to see things as God sees them.
Walk in Humility – Wisdom is not about knowing everything, but about being teachable before the Lord.
Seek Wise Counsel – Surround yourself with people who walk in God’s wisdom and can offer guidance.
Act on What You Learn – Wisdom is not just knowledge; it is applying God’s truth in daily life.
