Daily Journal: What It Takes to Live a True Christian Life

Living a true Christian life is not simply a Sunday routine—it demands blood, sweat, and tears. It requires effort, grit, perseverance, faith, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to God. It’s about consciously defining who you want to be and where you want to be when your time on earth is complete.
The Reward of Following Christ
Choosing to walk with Jesus opens you to blessings you cannot earn elsewhere:

Divine Helpers: The Word says, “We are laborers together with God” (1 Corinthians 3:9 NKJV). We have heavenly allies in spiritual and earthly battles.

Direct Access to God: Jesus promised, “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do” (John 14:14 NKJV)—supernatural healing, miracles, and personal connection are available through His name.

Character Development: Through trials, “the testing of your faith produces patience” (James 1:3 NKJV), shaping us into Christ’s character and grounding us in eternal values.

Victory and Overcomers: You’re part of an extraordinary company—perseverers, conquerors, those who rise above. “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!” (1 Corinthians 15:57 NKJV).

Divine Indwelling: “Greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4 NKJV). God lives within you, leading your path and guiding your decisions.
My Journey: From Childhood Believer to Minister
I accepted Christ as a child, and I’m forever grateful He hasn’t let go of me. My walk with the Holy Spirit has deepened over decades, guided by dreams and spiritual insight.
Over these 20+ years, I’ve discovered spiritual gifts like prophecy, discernment, and teaching. I’ve also tapped into a wellspring of knowledge—applying it in publishing, education, technology, and even gardening! As you can see from my story on our website, God’s hand is faithful and gracious.
Why You Should Not Be Discouraged
Life’s hardships may attempt to dim your faith, but God’s Word reminds us:
“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26 NKJV)
And when human doors close, “man’s yes can turn to God’s yes”—and God’s yes always stands.
Your Invitation
If you haven’t yet known Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, today is the best day to start. He will never fail you. Begin with the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Allow His story to transform your heart.
