The Christian Life with Colline: The Power of a Broken and Contrite Heart

This message has been stirring in my spirit for days—again this morning—as a gentle reminder of the posture God seeks from us. He isn’t looking for polished self-confidence but for hearts laid low in humility, open and ready to receive His grace.
Message
This has been coming to my spirit since the other day and again this morning: God desires us to approach Him with a broken and contrite heart. It pleases Him. It means coming to Him humbly, with genuine repentance and sincerity. It’s not weakness; rather, in our brokenness and contrite heart, we become more open to experiencing the fullness of His strength, power, peace, joy, and might as He works out His plans for His glory. We hear His voice more clearly when our hearts are broken and contrite. We tend to speak less and listen more in His presence, attuned to that still, soft voice of God. Be encouraged.
