Daily Journal: The True Christian Life
By: Minister Denise N. Fyffe
Living a true Christian life requires blood, sweat and tears. It requires true effort and grit. It requires perseverance and faith. It requires dedication and commitment to God and knowing what you want to be and where you want to end up when you come to the end of your time here on earth.
Being a Christian offers rewards.
You have divine helpers. You have direct access to a supreme being. You can get access to supernatural healing and miracles.
You also learn much about yourself and what you are made of. You are offered opportunities to build character and develop an eternal set of values.
You also become a member of an exclusive club of persevere-ers, overcomers, victors and conquerors. Your life blessings are fully accessible you only need to believe and have faith. The Greater One also lives in you, with you and guides you.
I became a Christian as a child, and I am thankful to God for keeping me. I believe and have an enduring relationship with the Holy Spirit who is always guiding me with dreams and visions.
I have many giftings including discernment, prophecy, teaching and not to mention access to a wellspring of knowledge which I have used throughout my 20 odd year character in areas such as publishing, education, technology and gardening :).
God is great, and He is greatly to be praised.
So, do not be discouraged.
Remember, with God all things are possible and if man says no God’s yes trumps that every time.
I urge you to get to know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. He will never fail you. If you have a bible start by reading the New Testament books: Matthew, mark, Luke and John. Then commit your life to Christ. Find a local church group and you can also contact us hear at Revealing the Christian Life Ministry.
Be blessed and be encouraged.
The Invitation
I invite you today to take a deep look at yourself and reflect on your life. Are you searching for something more? Are you satisfied with how things are today? Is God calling you to confess your sins, be baptized and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Have you been ignoring him? Have you been facing immense hardships and challenges? What can you do to take the first step?
Trust God to help you with that first step.
Be encouraged.
Be bold.
