Letter From the Prayer Desk: Sister Seek Wisdom, Clothe Yourself in the Spirit
Dear Sister in Christ,
Thank you for reaching out. I can feel the weight of your frustration and the deep sense of injustice you’re experiencing. These workplace wounds—especially when they come from fellow believers—can cut deeply. But you are not alone. The Lord sees you, hears you, and He will be your defender and guide.
Seek Wisdom, Clothe Yourself in the Spirit
In moments like this, the Bible reminds us to respond not just with truth, but with wisdom, discernment, and the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.”
— James 3:17 (NKJV)
While it is important to stand firm in truth, it is just as vital to ask the Holy Spirit to fill your heart with love, patience, self-control, and peace—so that your responses, even to hurtful or inappropriate treatment, are guided by the Spirit and not by emotion or human frustration.
I encourage you to begin asking God for:

Wisdom to navigate this work environment.

Self-control to avoid unnecessary confrontation.

Patience to endure until He moves or brings change.
-
Love that rises above mockery or disrespect.

Peace in knowing your identity is secure in Christ, not in workplace opinions.
A Prayer for You
Heavenly Father,
I lift Your daughter before You. You see the conflict, the injustice, and the weight of misunderstanding and mistreatment. Lord, clothe her in righteousness and let Your wisdom be her armor. Silence every lying tongue, expose every false narrative, and bring peace to her workplace.
May Your Spirit rise within her with strength and poise. Let her be a light that reflects Your character—gracious yet bold, peaceful yet firm. Remind her daily that she is not defined by the words of man but by the truth of Your Word.
Protect her name, her reputation, and her heart. And where there is pain, bring healing. Where there is slander, let Your vindication speak louder. Let the fruit of the Spirit overflow in her life and may it silence her accusers by its undeniable witness.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
