Spiritual Warfare Drills #2: Practice Exercise
By: Minister Denise N. Fyffe
Practice Exercise
Do these for the next 7 days.
Day 1–2: Map the Battlefield. Set a 20-minute quiet time. List current pressure points (mindsets, habits, relationships). Next to each, write a verse that answers it (e.g., fear → 2 Timothy 1:7; condemnation → Romans 8:1).
Day 3–4: Replace and Repeat. Each time the pressure point surfaces, say the verse out loud and a one-line counter-declaration (e.g., “God has not given me a spirit of fear. I receive power, love, and a sound mind.”).
Day 5–6: Armor On. Pray Ephesians 6:10–18 slowly, piece by piece, visualizing each part as truth you put on.
Day 7: Communion & Commitment. Take communion (if possible). Re-consecrate your allegiance to Jesus as Lord of your whole life. Journal what changed this week.

The Invitation
I invite you today to take a deep look at yourself and reflect on your life. Are you searching for something more? Are you satisfied with how things are today? Is God calling you to confess your sins, be baptized and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Have you been ignoring him? Have you been facing immense hardships and challenges? What can you do to take the first step?
Trust God to help you with that first step.
Be encouraged.
