The Christian Life with Colline: Why Try to Rush Out of What God Wants to Use for Your Blessings and Favors? Part 2

This is a powerful reminder:

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33 NKJV

Too often, we try to escape situations that feel unbearable—addiction, guilt, shame, financial hardship, or even spiritual fatigue. But God says: Don’t rush out! He wants to use those very areas to bring healing, transformation, and favor into your life.

My Testimony: Delivered from Addiction

There was a time when I was trapped in addiction. I was a Cashpot mother, spending money, time, and energy on gambling. The addiction gripped me so tightly—it felt good, even normal. But that’s the deceptive nature of sin. Sin often feels good to the flesh. Whether it’s fornication, adultery, idolatry, or gambling—it seduces us, convinces us that we’re okay, and then tightens its grip until we’re trapped.

“For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another…” — Galatians 5:17 NKJV

Sin starts small. But over time, it overtakes our minds, our hearts, and our spirits. We lose control, and sin starts controlling us. That’s how Satan works—quietly, subtly, and destructively.

But God Can Break Every Chain

Despite how deep you’ve fallen, despite how much sin has become a thorn in your life—God can deliver you.
He can wash it all away with the blood of the Lamb.

“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow.” — Isaiah 1:18 NKJV

If you hear God calling your name today—stop ignoring the call. He wants to fix in you what no one else can fix. Not even you. He wants to heal you, free you, and pour out blessings you never imagined.

To the One Who’s Hurting

As I wrote this, tears filled my eyes. I felt someone’s pain deeply. Maybe you are that person. Maybe you’re tired of life, overwhelmed, and wondering if things will ever change. Maybe you’ve cried yourself to sleep, thinking nobody understands. But God sees you. He hears you. He is with you.

“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 NKJV

You are not alone. God says:

“Give Me a chance. Let Me show you what I can do in your life.”

A Prayer of Repentance and New Life

If you’re ready to give your life to Jesus, pray this with me from your heart:

Prayer of Salvation

Dear Lord,

I am not my own—I belong to You. I was created with a purpose—not to live for myself, but to fulfill Your will on this earth. I know I was conceived in sin, and that You sent Jesus to die on the cross for me. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He rose from the dead.

I repent of my sins today. Wash me with Your blood, cleanse me with hyssop, and make me whiter than snow. I surrender my heart, my mind, and my spirit to You.

I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I commit to walking in righteousness, to serve You, and to please You all the days of my life. Have Your way in me. Mold me. Use me. Let Your purpose be fulfilled through me for Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Next Step: Baptism

If you prayed this prayer sincerely, welcome to the family of God! Let me help you take the next step—baptism. It’s your public declaration to the world that your life has changed and you now belong to Jesus.
Your friends and family will witness your transformation, and your decision may even lead them to Christ.

Final Encouragement

Don’t rush out of your situation. Let God finish what He started. He will use your pain, your addiction, your struggles—for your good and for His glory.

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” — Philippians 1:6 NKJV

Blessings and Favors are waiting on the other side of your obedience.

Be blessed!

Meditate on God’s Word

Many Christians struggle daily to live according to God’s word. But we need daily nourishment. That is why it is important to read your bible daily; even if it is a few verses and meditate on them.
