How to Speak Christian Declarations Over My Life – Day #22
By Minister Denise Fyffe
Sometimes, we make the mistake of following the wrong role models. This can lead us down a path of destruction. Therefore, be careful who you follow.
Be careful who and what you listen to.
Be careful who you admire.
Be careful of your desires.
Be careful in all things.
Read the word of God and develop a spirit of discernment to know right from wrong and good from evil. This will help you to discern people, by what they say and what they do. It will help you to heed the Holy Spirit, which is the best guide you could ever have.
Not everything you see, you should believe. Not everyone who seemingly does good, is good in their heart. That is why it is important to ask God to help you to know who are truly good in their heart and deeds.
Ask, and he shall answer.
Proverbs 2:20 (NLT)
“Follow the steps of good men instead and stay on the paths of the righteous.”
Declarations:
- I declare that I will follow the steps of the good and righteous in all my ways.
- I declare that my life will be guided by the principles of integrity and righteousness.
- I declare that I will walk in the wisdom and understanding of the Lord.
- I declare that my decisions will reflect the goodness and righteousness of God.
- I declare that I will avoid the paths of the wicked and stay true to God’s ways.
- I declare that I will seek and follow godly counsel in all areas of my life.
- I declare that my footsteps are ordered by the Lord and I will walk in His ways.
- I declare that I will be an example of righteousness and goodness to others.
- I declare that my life will shine with the light of God’s righteousness.
- I declare that I will stay on the path of righteousness, even when it is difficult.
Declarations Over My Life (Book Series)
This series, Declarations for My Life, provides bold statements entrenched in the promises of God. As children of God, Christians, we ought to make pronouncements over our lives. We are taught that as sons and daughters of the kingdom, heirs to the royal priesthood of Jesus Christ, we should make declarations and decrees. It is a way in which to exercise our will/authority and cause our purpose for a thing to be made manifest.
