Letter From the Prayer Desk: Dear Dor, Growing into a Deeper and Stronger Fellowship with God
Dear Dor,
Thank you for your message. Your desire to have a strong fellowship with God is precious and deeply pleasing to Him. Scripture tells us, “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you” (James 4:8, NKJV). The very fact that this desire is in your heart is evidence that God is already at work in you.
A strong fellowship with God is not built overnight—it is formed through consistent, sincere pursuit, even in small daily moments. God is not looking for perfection, but for a willing heart that seeks Him honestly.
Encouragement for Your Walk with God
Begin with simple, intentional habits:
-
Set aside a quiet time each day to pray and read Scripture, even if only for a few minutes.
-
Speak to God openly, not formally—He desires relationship, not performance.
-
Read the Word slowly and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and guide you.
-
Practice obedience in the small things; fellowship deepens as trust grows.
A Prayer Over You
Father,
In the name of Jesus, I lift Dor. before You. Thank You for placing in her heart a hunger for deeper fellowship with You. Draw her closer, reveal Your presence to her, and teach her how to walk with You daily. Strengthen her spiritual discipline, quiet distractions, and fill her with understanding, peace, and joy in Your presence. Let her relationship with You grow strong, steady, and rooted in truth. In Jesus’ name, amen.
