Dreams About Leadership, Management & Authority

Dreams involving supervisors, leaders, authority figures or your own leadership role may highlight responsibility, accountability, influence, conflict, service or preparation. A title in a dream should not be assumed to predict a literal appointment.

  • Who carried authority, and how was it exercised?
  • Was leadership expressed through service, control, protection, teaching or decision-making?
  • Were you accountable for people, resources, information or outcomes?
  • Did the dream reveal a character issue as much as a career issue?

Interpret leadership dreams with attention to character and stewardship as well as position. Explore Calling, Character & Responsibility.

Steward the Dream: Record It

Write the dream or vision down while the details are fresh. Record the date, people, setting, words, symbols, emotions and what happened before and after. Return to your journal prayerfully over time. Patterns, confirmations and later events can deepen understanding, help you recognize how God may be communicating with you, and help you identify the kind of dreamer you are becoming. Do not rely on memory alone.
