Instructional Dreams & Spiritual Lessons
Recognizing dreams that may teach, correct, prepare or draw attention to something the dreamer needs to learn.
Some biblical dream experiences communicated information that required understanding and response. In RTCLM’s framework, an instructional dream should be examined in its full context rather than reduced to isolated symbols. Ask what was being shown, what changed during the dream, what response was required and whether the perceived lesson agrees with Scripture.
Record details before interpretation. Notice repeated instruction, people, places, actions and outcomes. Where understanding remains incomplete, allow time rather than forcing certainty.
Steward the Dream: Record It
Write the dream or vision down while the details are fresh. Record the date, people, setting, words, symbols, emotions and what happened before and after. Return to your journal prayerfully over time. Patterns, confirmations and later events can deepen understanding, help you recognize how God may be communicating with you, and help you identify the kind of dreamer you are becoming. Do not rely on memory alone.
