Intercessory Dreams & Prayer Burdens
A careful framework for dreams that appear to call the dreamer to prayer for another person, family, ministry or situation.
When a dream seems connected to intercession, the safest first response is often prayer rather than public declaration. The dreamer should resist exaggerating what was seen, protect the dignity and privacy of other people, and avoid presenting an interpretation as established fact when it remains uncertain.
Record the dream accurately, pray according to Scripture and distinguish what was actually shown from what you infer. Sensitive dreams about other people require particular restraint and stewardship.

Steward the Dream: Record It
Write the dream or vision down while the details are fresh. Record the date, people, setting, words, symbols, emotions and what happened before and after. Return to your journal prayerfully over time. Patterns, confirmations and later events can deepen understanding, help you recognize how God may be communicating with you, and help you identify the kind of dreamer you are becoming. Do not rely on memory alone.
