Dreams of Fighting, Battles & Spiritual Resistance
Dreams of conflict can reflect different kinds of struggle. The meaning depends on the full dream, not the presence of a fight alone.
Examine the Nature of the Conflict
Who or what were you fighting? Were you defending yourself, protecting someone else, resisting pressure, or being overwhelmed? Did you have authority and clarity, or confusion and fear? The answers help distinguish symbolic conflict from a dream that may carry a stronger spiritual-warfare dimension.
RTCLM’s existing teaching on spiritual warfare emphasizes preparation, spiritual authority, prayer, discernment and standing firm in Christ. The dream itself should never become the source of doctrine; Scripture remains the standard by which interpretations and responses are tested.
For biblical examples, see 6 Spiritual Warfare Dreams and Visions in the Old Testament. For broader warfare teaching, continue with RTCLM’s Born into Battle series.
