The Christian Life: Seeking God First in Your Life

Jesus said the same thing to the disciples years later. “But seek ye first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Mt. 6:33).

I am in a place and a state of mind, where I don’t care much for material things; only as it would serve my immediate needs. When you have had the experiences that I have lived, where people steal your belongings and money; as permitted only by God, you change your perspective really quickly.

Through my Job experience, I have had nothing, yet each one of my needs were met. My debts, where before even while working, could not be paid off, now are paid off. I was able to travel through several states in the US, with little money, after my company shut down; in this GOD used people to bless me. So now, how could I doubt him?

Therefore, it is my sole and primary desire to do His will and seek His kingdom and you should too. I know many of you, especially in this economic downturn, are having your own Job experiences. The Kingdom of God is at hand and God is preparing his people, his servants, his workers, his children.

Now is the time when we have to harvest; for those who are called to minister to the unsaved, for those who are called to seek out the backslidders and prodigals and for those who have to reinforce and encourage those already in God’s Kingdom. If this is paradoxical to you, understand this. “God would not leave his workers without nourishment and go feed those who are not in his house. God provides, supports and takes care of all.”

So, as a child of God’s Kingdom, …seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Mt. 6:33).

  1. God is indeed a provider and a keeper. He takes care of his people and this is evident in your testimony. His words are true, He will never leave us or forsake us. I share your sentiments and have proven God in the ways that you have. Continue to hold on Den Den and prove God for yourself. Bless you always…
