Revealing the truth about Healing to the Jamaican churches
Identifying the Myths, Lies and Doubt
The bible says, in
John 3:16-17 ‘16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.’
This is a clear demonstration of the extent of God’s love for humanity. Not just collectively, but He loves you and me as individuals, equally. He cares about our every needs and wants; whether we are hungry, clothed, sheltered, happy, sad, sick or healthy. He cares about whether we have a job and about every other desire in our heart. If God loves us so much that He gave His ‘only begotten Son’, why then would He withhold His healing from those He loves? Obviously, there are stipulations for this healing to occur.
Lie #1 – The need is not great
People, ministers, pastors, saints, the wise and the foolish, cast their aspirations and opinions about this matter. They prescribe intellectual explanations as to why healing is not manifesting in Jamaican churches. One such, is that ‘The need is not great‘. Are you saying that the illnesses, suffering and oppression that happen to Jamaican people are no more important than those of the people in the churches of the United States or Nigeria, where there are active healing ministries? Are their needs more important than those here in Jamaica?
I say to you, nay.
To believe such, would be to believe in a lie from the pit of hell.
God’s love does not discriminate. He loves us all immensely and indescribably. He sees the hurt and pain that we all suffer – equally – and wish that we all would approach Him for healing. But we cannot go about it like blind and ignorant Christians, ill prepared and ill-advised about facilitating the manifestation of one of the greatest gifts of God’s love.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.- Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)
There is no way that the devil will make it easy for us to tap into God and the Holy Spirit, without presenting a fight or distraction or deceit to mislead and misdirect us.
Sickness is one of the main weapons of oppression used by the devil against humanity. As such, God says that the enemy has set up a stronghold of deceit, spiritual blindness and frustration to waylay the efforts of the Jamaican churches.
Jamaican Christians and churches will have to go higher in God to attain the prize and conquering the enemy.
Remember, God loves us all equally. He is concerned about your well-being, in the same way that He is concerned about your neighbor, your brother, your boss, your enemy or the stranger you pass on the street. His desire is to see us all walk in health.
*****
It is only by the direction of the Holy Spirit that I can write this. There is a need to clarify every misunderstanding about Healing in my country, Jamaica and in Jamaican churches. The information that I will present is not of myself; it is completely from the Holy Spirit. I am not a theologian scholar and though I am a writer, I am simply a willing and available vessel for His purposes. I am completely sold out to God in this process.
