Evil lurks about us in plain sight and in close quarters. Most times, people are the cavities that create the perfect nesting place for such vileness, and this should not be.
We are declared to be vessels for the Holy Spirit so that he might guide us into a relationship with God. But no, some are hosts for the defiled and perpetrators for defilement.
Through this journey of getting closer to God and doing His will; He is showing me the heart and sinful nature of man.
I feel in my sphere, the reinforcement encircling me, to tempt and lead me away, but that is neither my nor God’s will. But, there are many who are outside of the will of God and as such are automatically under the will of the deceiver.
I see their hearts. I see their words. I see their motives, defiled.
Unfortunately, the last few days have exposed me to those with lips that caress the vowels of lies and bask in the aftermath. With some, their very essence exudes deceit and carnal ways.
Someone said recently, that we are to remember that just as how we as Christians have assignments and a destiny to fulfill in God, those not yet of His are also given assignments, and that might be to make your daily lives a living hell.
God forbid.
But, I find this new-found realization a full reflection of the truth. Spiritual warfare occurs on many levels, in many ways and using too many unknowing participants; as such, the truth must be told and the gospel preached so that they may eventually be freed for the kingdom.
So, remember, when you meet up on human elements in your day that are tasked and assigned to mar your day, there are required steps you must take. Firstly, pray for them, rebuke the spirit in operation, cover yourself, give access to the will of God and not your own, be humble, be patient, be forgiving, pray for you.
The moments will defer.
The resistance will defer.
The outcome will defer.
God remains constant and he will be faithful to you, his child.
Pray.
