Hymn: There Is None Like You
There Is None Like You,
No One Else Can Touch My Heart Like You Do,
I Can Search For All Eternity Lord
And Find, There Is None Like You.
There Is None Like You.
No One Else Can Touch My Heart Like You Do,
I Can Search For All Eternity Lord
And Find, There Is None Like You.
My Testimony
I am truly grateful to God for all that he has done. Through disappointments, struggles and valleys he carries me through. I am eternally grateful.
2020 and 2021 have been stellar years for the demonstration of God’s power in my life and I will be forever thankful. He has done far more than I can imagine or hope for considering my life’s challenges.
Therefore, I will not forget to tell him (singing) “thanks, thanks I give you thanks; for all, you have done. I am so blessed, my soul is at rest, oh Lord, I give you thanks.”
Welcome friend.
2020 through 2021 have turned the world off its axis in so many ways. There is not one person on all of earth who has not been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic in some way.
Many people have lost loved ones. Many people have died. Many people have lost their jobs or income stream. However, through it all we must be grateful. And I am very grateful because God continues to carry me though.
Just as he did for the Israelites in Egypt, the Lord have spared many as the plagues ravaged the land; Exodus 7-12.
As you might have observed, it is not by our power why we were spared, but it is by the power of God Almighty.
How Gratitude Aligns You With God
Therefore, it is important to extend thanks and gratitude to God. We ought to incorporate a prayer of thanks and appreciation daily.
The Lord states in the bible that man is often forgetful and does not remember what the Lord have done. Israel was guilty of this so many times. Even after the Lord brought them safely out of Egypt from Pharaoh’s tyranny; even when he parted the red sea; even when he carried them through the desert and fed them – the Israelites were still ungrateful and eventually forgot all that Jehovah did.
From this we ought to learn to avoid making the same mistake.
1. Gratitude Aligns You With God’s Will
The bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
2. Gratitude Allows Christ’s Peace to Rule in Your Heart
According to Colossians 3:15 “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
3. Gratitude Acknowledges God As the Source of Good Gifts & Blessings
In James 1:17, it states that “17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
Remember to be grateful each day and you will find that your mind and focus will shift. Rather than being consumed with the negative things of the world, you will focus on those things which are good, pure, holy and true.
You will begin to see how blessed you are and how much more fortunate you are than others.
If you have running water, shelter, food, clothing and can practice religion then you are far more blessed than at least 3 billion other people in the world.
Do This Gratitude Exercise
Each day for a week, write down 5 things that you are grateful for that day. At the end of each day, pray to God and extend your appreciation to him.
Then, in the following week, make the same list and each day show your appreciation to at least one person or those around you to whom you are grateful.
May the Lord go with you during this season and keep you safe, healthy and blessed.

Meditate on God’s Word
Many Christians struggle daily to live according to God’s word. But we need daily nourishment. That is why it is important to read your bible daily; even if it is a few verses and meditate on them.
Today, read Romans 8:31-39, and get a copy of the daily devotional Be Encouraged.
