A true measure of a man’s character lies in how he handles himself in challenging situations, especially when it involves the mother of his child. It is crucial for adults to sort out their issues without involving the child, as doing otherwise shows immaturity and a lack of consideration for the child’s well-being.

Protecting Children from Adult Issues

Children are innocent and should not be burdened with the conflicts of their parents. It is the responsibility of adults to shield children from such situations, ensuring they have a safe and nurturing environment to grow in.

Choosing Respect and Love

Instead of resorting to negative behavior or attempting to create divisions, a real man chooses to communicate with respect and love. Issues between adults should be handled maturely and privately, without involving the child or using them as a pawn in the conflict.

Setting a Godly Example

A godly man leads by example, showing love, respect, and kindness to all, especially to the mother of his child. Children observe and absorb everything around them, including the behavior of their parents. By demonstrating godly love and respect, a man can positively influence his child’s values and character.

Leaving a Lasting Legacy

As parents, we have the responsibility to raise children who will grow into compassionate, respectful, and responsible adults. By being godly parents, we create a positive legacy that will impact not only our children but also future generations to come.

Bible Verses:

  1. Ephesians 6:4 (NIV) – “Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”
  2. Colossians 3:21 (NIV) – “Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.”
  3. Proverbs 22:6 (NIV) – “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it.”
  4. 1 Corinthians 16:14 (NIV) – “Do everything in love.”
  5. Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV) – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”

Let these verses guide us in being godly parents, imparting love, wisdom, and positive values to our children. May our actions reflect the character of Christ, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of our children and future generations.

Conclusion: Being a Godly Parent

Let us remember our duty as parents to protect and nurture our children, shielding them from adult issues and conflicts. Being a real man means setting a godly example of love, respect, and maturity. By doing so, we leave a lasting legacy of positive values for our children and future generations.

Be encouraged to be the best parents we can be, guided by godly principles and love.
