Letter From the Prayer Desk: Dear R.G., Return to Christ’s Grace

Beloved in Christ,

Thank you for reaching out. Your desire to be right with Jesus is a powerful step and know this—Jesus is already calling you back to Him. No matter where you have been, what you have done, or how distant you may feel, God’s love for you has never changed. His arms are always open, ready to receive you.

God’s Mercy is Greater Than Our Failures

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

Jesus does not turn away those who seek Him. You do not need to earn His love or prove yourself worthy—He already paid the price for you. All He asks is that you come, surrender, and trust in His grace.

A Prayer for You

Heavenly Father,

We lift up R.G. before You today. Lord, You see his heart, his longing to be right with You, and his desire to walk in Your favor. Draw him close to You, break any chains that hold him back, and renew his spirit. Let him know that he is loved, forgiven, and redeemed through the blood of Jesus.

Jesus, remind him that he is not beyond Your grace. Help him to walk in Your light, to seek You daily, and to trust that You will guide him in all things. Fill his heart with peace, remove any doubts, and strengthen his faith.

Let Your favor rest upon him, Lord, and align his life with Your perfect will. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Returning to Jesus—Steps to Strengthen Your Walk

For anyone going through the same journey, please remember you can always return to God. Here are a few steps to follow:

• Confess & Surrender – Talk to God honestly, repent, and allow Him to restore you. (1 John 1:9)
• Spend Time in the Word – Let Scripture strengthen your spirit daily. Start with Romans 8, John 15, and Psalm 51.
• Pray with Expectation – Speak to God like a friend, trusting that He hears you.
• Surround Yourself with Faithful Believers – Find a church or faith-based community to encourage your journey.
• Rest in His Love – Your salvation is through grace, not by your works. Trust in Jesus completely.
