Daily Journal: The Lord Wants Us to Focus on Spiritual Warfare

I am sitting here thinking and pondering on the things of God and this world. The Lord is active, and He is trying to warn us and prepare us for what is to come. But what I can tell you is this…
There is more than the normal amount of spiritual warfare churning in the atmosphere this season.
People are dealing with so many issues. Stress upon stress, abuse upon abuse, failures on every side, persecution from Monday to Friday, and daily battles. They are struggling just to live each day. Many have looked out the window and simply wish to crawl back into bed. Some, do not have a bed or even a roof for shelter.
But God sees all and knows all.
The eyes of the Lord are upon every area of the earth. From Kenya to South Africa. From Gaza to Ukraine. From Washington DC to Montreal. From Kingston to Lagos. From Egypt to Curacao. nowhere is hidden from him.
He sees every broken heart.
He sees every tear.
He sees it all.
He sees you now.
Focus on Equipping Ourselves for Spiritual Warfare
This season, the Lord wants us to focus on spiritual warfare.
I have not touched on this topic in nearly ten years. But just as it was in 2016-2017, so is the urging now within me. The God of heaven and earth is bidding me to prepare you for spiritual warfare and to share resources with you. The Holy Spirit is saying that Christian believers need to understand the art of war as it were, and how to apply it to their spiritual lives.
We need to learn how to seek God.
We need to learn how to apply prayer effectively.
We need to learn how to fast properly.
We need to learn about the Prayer watches.
We need to focus, focus, focus.
This is a season where many will stumble. Many will be tempted away. many will become discouraged. Many will be lost. But I believe that if we start to examine the tactics of the adversary and get into biblical principles then, many believers will be saved the anguish to come.
I just got finished working on two resources – which are chuck full of daily exercises, prayers, declarations, scriptures and biblical truth to help with spiritual warfare.

What can you do to take the first step?
Trust God to help you with that first step.
