Letter From the Prayer Desk: Dear Ali, Rekindle the Fire Under Attack
Beloved Ali,
Missionary work can take a toll as it requires a lot of sacrifice. Thank you for writing so openly. I honor your years of weekly ministry—your faithfulness is not hidden from the Lord. It’s understandable to feel weakened after sustained spiritual pushback. Take heart: “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength” (Isaiah 40:29, NKJV). The Holy Spirit restores what warfare tries to drain.
I am praying for a fresh baptism of holy fire—clarity in your spirit, strength in your body, and joy in your calling. Where there has been confusion and heaviness, I ask the Lord to identify and lift every blockage: lingering fear, accumulated fatigue, soul-wounds from battle, or atmospheres attached to past locations. “The anointing… breaks the yoke” (Isaiah 10:27, NKJV). May the Lord break residual yokes and refill you with power and boldness.
Concerning Ja., I thank God for her baptism and the mercy that exposed what was hidden. May every residue of oppression be severed and the Lord establish her in peace. As she rests in Greece, I’m asking Jesus to confirm whether this is indeed His place of restoration—through the Word, inner witness, and wise counsel. “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it’” (Isaiah 30:21, NKJV). If it is His will, may doors open and roots deepen; if not, may He gently redirect her steps.
For Na., we are standing in urgent faith: “For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,” says the Lord (Jeremiah 30:17, NKJV). In Jesus’ name, I pray creative miracles—a new, strong heart; normal bloodwork; complete healing in jaw and teeth; relief from pain; and supernatural comfort as she grieves her brother. May the Spirit of the Lord shield her life, reverse every dark prognosis, and surround her with round-the-clock help. “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord” (Psalm 118:17, NKJV).
A few strengthening rhythms as you press forward: devote a brief weekly fast (as health allows), breaking at 3 p.m. or 6 p.m., to pray specifically for fresh oil on your ministry, Ja.’s guidance, and Na.’s healing (Mark 9:29). Each night, read Psalm 91 over your dwelling; anoint doors and rest spaces. Keep worship in the atmosphere and, where possible, pray with one trusted believer—shared intercession lightens the load.
Prayer:
Father, in Jesus’ name, I bless Al. with renewed strength, I bind weariness and loose divine vitality. I bless Ja. with clear guidance and full deliverance; confirm where she must dwell and plant her in peace. I bless Na. with creative healing—new heart, restored body, and deep comfort. Let every assignment of darkness be canceled and Your glory be revealed. Amen.
