Spiritual Warfare Teaching Series: Wrap-Up, Born into Battle
Teaching Series: Born into Battle – Equipping the Saints for Spiritual Warfare By: Minister Denise N. Fyffe
We have walked through the battlefield together — from understanding the enemy’s schemes to putting on the full armor of God, from wielding spiritual weapons to walking in the gifts of the Spirit, from training and discipleship to stealth tactics, uniformity to Christ, obedience and authority, and the power of prayer.
Each lesson has been a building block, forging you into a soldier who not only survives the fight but advances the Kingdom.
The Journey We’ve Taken
- Identity & Awareness – You were not born into a playground but into a battleground. Recognizing the reality of spiritual warfare is the first step to victory.
- The Battlefield Within & Without – Guarding your mind, heart, mouth, and life is as critical as confronting external opposition.
- Knowing Your Enemy – Awareness of Satan’s strategies keeps you from fighting the wrong battles.
- The Armor & Weapons – Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, the Word, prayer, praise, fasting, unity, holiness — these are not optional; they are your daily issue.
- Gifts & Leadership – The Holy Spirit’s gifts and the five-fold ministry equip and align the Body for effective warfare.
- Training & Discipleship – Soldiers are made, not born. Discipline, accountability, and practice keep you sharp.
- Stealth & Surprise – Forgiveness, blessing, secrecy with God, and Spirit-led silence are holy ambushes that disarm the enemy.
- Uniformity to Christ – Your Christ-shaped life is your most visible declaration of allegiance.
- Obedience & Authority – Submission to God’s orders is the foundation of spiritual jurisdiction.
- The Power of Prayer – Prayer is the command center where Heaven’s will is enforced on earth.
Your Commission
You are now equipped with knowledge, strategies, and spiritual disciplines. But training is only as good as its application. The war is real, the stakes are eternal, and the time is now. Stand your post. Keep your armor on. Stay under orders. Advance when the Spirit says advance. Hold the ground you’ve taken. And remember — you fight from victory, not for it.
Practical Next Steps
- Revisit the Lessons – Go back through each teaching, review the Scriptures, and practice the exercises.
- Stay in Formation – Remain connected to your local church, prayer partners, and mentors.
- Live the Lifestyle – Let holiness, humility, and love be your uniform every day.
- Keep the Supply Lines Open – Maintain a daily rhythm of Word, worship, and prayer.
- Multiply the Mission – Teach others what you’ve learned; discipleship is how the Kingdom advances.
Reflection Question
- What one truth from this series will you commit to living out daily, starting now?
Final Encouragement
Soldier of Christ, you have been trained, armed, and commissioned. The enemy will test your resolve, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Keep your eyes on Jesus, your Commander and King. Let His Word be your map, His Spirit your guide, and His love your motive.
