Common Dream Scenarios
A discernment gateway for repeated situations, emotionally significant scenes, and common dream experiences.
Read the Whole Dream, Not One Detail
RTCLM approaches recurring scenarios as part of a complete dream. The people present, setting, actions, emotions, sequence, outcome, personal associations, repeated patterns and Scripture all matter. A familiar scenario does not carry one automatic meaning for every dreamer.
This hub organizes high-interest scenarios so you can identify patterns, compare related experiences, and then move into the deeper RTCLM teachings that already address a subject. Where a full RTCLM article exists, it remains the primary teaching rather than being duplicated here.
Discernment Questions
- Is this scenario repeating, and what changes from one dream to the next?
- What was happening immediately before and after the central scene?
- Who was present, and what do those people represent in your actual life?
- What response did the dream require from you?
- Does your proposed interpretation agree with Scripture and the character of God?

Steward the Dream: Record It
Write the dream or vision down while the details are fresh. Record the date, people, setting, words, symbols, emotions and what happened before and after. Return to your journal prayerfully over time. Patterns, confirmations and later events can deepen understanding, help you recognize how God may be communicating with you, and help you identify the kind of dreamer you are becoming. Do not rely on memory alone.
