Dreams About Being Chased or Pursued
A biblical discernment guide for examining this common dream scenario in context without forcing a fixed meaning.
Being chased is a high-intensity dream scenario, but the pursuer, location, reason for running, ability to escape, emotional response and ending must be considered together. Do not assume every pursuit dream has the same spiritual source or meaning.
Examine the pattern before assigning meaning. Use the questions on this page to identify the pursuer, setting, response and outcome, then continue to the linked RTCLM teaching for a fuller biblical study of pursuit dreams.

Steward the Dream: Record It
Write the dream or vision down while the details are fresh. Record the date, people, setting, words, symbols, emotions and what happened before and after. Return to your journal prayerfully over time. Patterns, confirmations and later events can deepen understanding and help you compare what repeats over time. They may also help you discern whether a dream was spiritually significant, but they should not be treated as automatic proof that God is communicating or as a measure of prophetic status. Do not rely on memory alone.
