GIANTS OF THE FAITH • UPDATED 2026
Christian History, Leadership, Mission and Faithfulness
Study the lives of Christians whose service, sacrifice, preaching, scholarship, mission and leadership shaped the Church across generations and nations.
Throughout Christian history, men and women have answered God’s call with courage, sacrifice and perseverance. The Giants of the Faith series examines those lives carefully—not to glorify human personalities, but to learn from their obedience, failures, convictions, ministries and enduring witness to Jesus Christ.
This learning hub was refreshed in 2026 as the series expanded beyond its original lessons. It now serves as the central archive for every Giants of the Faith profile currently published on Revealing the Christian Life Ministry. New profiles will be added here as they are published.
The archive spans missionaries, revivalists, evangelists, reformers, pastors, theologians, apologists and Christian leaders from different cultures and centuries. Read comparatively. Notice how God worked through different personalities, traditions and historical settings while the gospel of Jesus Christ remained central.
Keep the focus in the right place: these believers can instruct and inspire us, but Jesus Christ stands above every human example. As Hebrews 12:1 reminds us, “since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,” we are called to run our own race with endurance.

How to Use This Archive
- Read one profile at a time and identify the person’s historical setting, calling and primary contribution.
- Compare their convictions and practices with Scripture rather than treating any Christian leader as beyond examination.
- Look for lessons in prayer, courage, leadership, evangelism, mission, perseverance, scholarship and service that can be applied faithfully today.
- Return regularly. This archive will continue to grow as additional Giants of the Faith profiles are published.
May these lives encourage you to pursue Christ more faithfully, serve with humility and steward your own calling well. The goal is not to become famous, but to become faithful.
With blessings,
Minister Denise N. Fyffe
