The earth and men have been the same for thousands of years; yesterday, today and tomorrow they will strive against each other and there will be war and disagreement.
This is why it is important to seek God for his instruction and protection.
God carried the children of Israel through so many adversity and periods of war. He did wonderous and miraculous things. He defeated their enemies, not only physically but spiritually as well.
God can defeat your enemies.
God can raise up a mighty nation from you as well.
God can break even the strongest of foes, with just a tiny stone. Look at David, with Goliath.
Follow the Ways of God
Seek him. Learn about his ways. Follow his precepts and laws. And watch Jehovah demonstrate his might. No longer cower in silence and depression. But tell God about your problems and ask him to intervene.
He will fight for you and settle the matter.
Psalms 112:2 (NKJV)
His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed.
