Testimony: God Preserves and Leads Us in Ministry

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…” — Revelation 12:11 (NKJV)

I have seen the hand of God move in my life in miraculous and often mysterious ways. There is so much I could share — but today, let me testify of the incredible joy and wonder of spiritually adopting nine little trafficked girls. The way Jesus led me to minister to them is astonishing. I had the opportunity to share this with members of our intercession group once on Zoom, and they were blessed and amazed.

Another remarkable experience Jesus led me into is bilocation — yes, appearing in two places at once to minister. If you search “who has been ministering in bilocation over the centuries,” you’ll find saints such as Padre Pio, whose ministry stretched into the 1960s. Many souls are being saved through this supernatural ministry even today. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to share the full talk I gave on Zoom. Typing is slow for me now — I manage on an iPad with one finger — but I press on for the sake of the Gospel.

What is Bilocation?

Bilocation—the miraculous ability to be present in two places at once—is a phenomenon most commonly associated with Christian mysticism and the lives of saints. While not explicitly described in the Bible, it appears in hagiographies, spiritual biographies, and testimonies of divine encounters.

And the Bible does affirm spiritual presence and divine transport:

  • Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch: After baptizing the eunuch, Philip was “caught away” and found in another city (Acts 8:39–40).
  • Elisha’s Insight: Elisha knew what Gehazi did in secret, saying, “Did not my heart go with you?” (2 Kings 5:26)
  • Ezekiel 8:3 – The prophet is lifted by the Spirit and taken to Jerusalem in a vision.

These examples show that God can extend a believer’s influence beyond their physical location.

Preserved Through Attacks

Satan has tried to take my life more than once. In 1956, at the age of 14, I dislocated my left knee in a fall. I couldn’t ride my bike to school for a year. But God turned that pain into purpose. I wasn’t allowed to participate in sports, so I poured myself into study — both at school and through the Encyclopaedia Britannica at home. My academic success was rooted in that trial. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God…” — Romans 8:28 (NKJV)

Years later, while hiking in North Wales, I sprained my ankle after stepping into a rabbit hole. That injury followed years of struggling with a swollen knee that was never properly treated. Yet, through it all, I kept moving forward, ministering wherever God led.

During my student years, I narrowly escaped being gang-raped in Spain at the age of 19. I know Jesus was there, protecting me. It’s a story I’ve shared in other settings, and it still brings tears of gratitude to my eyes.

Standing in Authority

Satan appeared to me just three days after I gave my life to Christ. I didn’t know much, but I sensed danger and stared him down. He was hideous — black, with colored stones embedded in his form. Years later, I read Ezekiel’s description of Lucifer, and it matched exactly. “You were the seal of perfection… every precious stone was your covering…” — Ezekiel 28:12-13 (NKJV)

To this day, when Satan tries to deter me from ministry, I command him in Latin to leave. He doesn’t understand it — and it works. I remind him that he is a loser bound for the Lake of Fire. He flees immediately. I’ve also found speaking aloud in tongues to be incredibly effective. “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” — James 4:7 (NKJV)

Once, after many Hindus were saved in India, Satan attacked again. I was pushed from behind — invisible hands forced me down. My face hit the ground, and my nose was fractured in two places. Still, I continued ministering at our conference, blood streaming down my face. I was embarrassed, yes, but not deterred.

A Divine Calling

In 1977, I was attending a missions conference in England. The atmosphere was filled with prayer when I heard the audible voice of God say, “Will you go?” It was majestic and powerful, unlike anything I’d ever heard. I looked around — no one else heard it. That moment confirmed my call to missions. My late husband, though not called to India, accompanied me out of obedience and for safety. He moved in the gifts of discernment and prophecy. On one occasion, he prophesied to an abusive husband that unless he repented, he would die within the year. Tragically — but truthfully — it happened. His wife later became a leader in the church.

Despite challenges with visas and ministry trips, we pressed on. Even today, though my body is afflicted with eczema and my nose bleeds daily, I pray through the night for the salvation of souls.

“Though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.” — 2 Corinthians 4:16 (NKJV)

Closing Words

My memory remains strong — I remember events from 1945 as if they were yesterday. God has kept me through decades of ministry, trials, and miracles. And I am still learning, growing, and willing to serve.

God bless you and your ministry.
