Letter From the Prayer Desk: Dear Jra, Cry for Family Salvation and a Deeper Walk with Christ
Dear Jra.,
Thank you for writing. Your message is not just words—it is a burdened intercession, and God honors that. Your desire for salvation, repentance, and a closer walk with Jesus for yourself and your entire family reflects the heart of someone who understands the urgency and reality of eternity.
Scripture assures us, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household” (Acts 16:31, NKJV). While each person must personally respond to Christ, God takes note of covenant prayers lifted on behalf of families, especially when they are prayed with sincerity, humility, and perseverance.
A Word of Encouragement
Salvation is the work of the Holy Spirit. Our role is to pray, live as witnesses, and trust God with timing. Do not be discouraged if you do not yet see immediate change. Seeds planted in prayer do not die—they take root. Continue to intercede with faith, but also with peace, knowing that God loves your family even more than you do.
A closer walk with Jesus begins daily—through prayer, repentance, obedience, and time in the Word. As your relationship with Christ deepens, your life itself becomes a testimony that speaks louder than words.
A Prayer Covering for You and Your Family
Father God,
In the name of Jesus Christ, I lift Jra. and the entire family before You. Thank You for placing eternity in her heart and a burden for salvation in her spirit. Lord, draw her closer to You. Fill her with understanding, peace, and assurance of Your love.
I pray for every member of her family—open their eyes, soften their hearts, and remove every veil that keeps them from the truth of the Gospel. Let conviction come with mercy, not fear. Break generational cycles and bring repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation. May salvation come to this household, and may they know Jesus not only by name, but by relationship.
Let Your Spirit move through this family line, and may none be lost. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
