Stages of the Dreamer

Dreamer development is a process. This guide preserves RTCLM’s established four-part series as the primary teaching and gives readers one clear pathway through it.

Just as human development occurs in stages, RTCLM’s teaching recognizes growth in how a person receives, understands and stewards dreams. The objective is maturity rather than a title. Each lesson below should be read in sequence because later stages build upon foundations established earlier.

Follow the Four-Part Series

Part 1

Begin with the foundation: God communicates, Scripture records dreams and visions, and the dreamer must first learn to recognize what is happening.

Part 2

Continue into acknowledgment and development. Learning to recognize a pattern of dreaming also brings responsibility for how it is handled.

Part 3

Move deeper into the developing stages, where discernment, learning and faithful stewardship become increasingly important.

Part 4

Complete the series by examining the mature stage and why greater revelation must be accompanied by greater responsibility.

How to Use This Series

Keep a dream journal while studying. Note repeated patterns, questions and later confirmations, but do not force every dream into a predetermined category. Return to Scripture and use the wider Knowledge Center to examine interpretation, discernment and stewardship.
